Trainee Audit/Accounts Junior

Our trainee accountant position would suit an intelligent and proactive A level student or graduate who is numerate, with excellent communication skills.

This is a trainee role for progression to qualification as a Chartered Accountant. The role is within our Audit/Accounts team and will involve general accounts work such as preparing financial accounts, bookkeeping and management accounts, together with statutory audit assignments. You will also have the opportunity to gain experience in both personal and corporate tax. Our clients cover a wide range of industries, from start up businesses to major entities with complex affairs and thus the experience provided will be both diverse and interesting and provide a useful complement to your studies.

In order to be considered for this role you will have accrued at least 280 UCAS points (excluding general studies), including an A or B grade in A level Accountancy. If a graduate applicant you will also have achieved a 2.1 or above in your degree. Overall a strong mathematical academic background including excellent GCSE grades is essential, together with an interest in Accounting and the desire to begin a career in practice. A full UK driving licence together with your own transport is required.
